My approach
I don’t reset a machine and hope for the best. I test it, find what has actually failed and why, and explain it in plain English. When a Proton Washrite wouldn’t start its cycle, the seized wash pump wasn’t the whole story: a metal bracket was lodged in the pump housing and hose. Removing it, refitting the pump and testing the machine got it back up and running.
If a machine isn’t worth repairing, I’ll tell you before money is spent. Parts are always quoted and agreed before fitting, so you stay in control of the cost.

FAQ
Yes. I work on undercounter and passthrough (hood) dishwashers, as well as utensil and pot washers and glasswashers.
Switch the machine off, then check the filters in the tank for food debris and make sure the drain hose isn’t kinked. If it still won’t drain, the drain pump or drain fitting is likely blocked or faulty, and that’s a job for an engineer.
Often, yes. Well-built commercial machines can run for many years with the occasional new pump, element or seal. I’ll give you an honest view on whether a repair makes sense before any work goes ahead.

Yes. Evening, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday visits are available at the rates shown on this page. Out of hours, send a WhatsApp, text or email with the machine and fault.
Contact
Call, WhatsApp or email with the make, model and fault, and I’ll be in touch.
Before you call, it helps to have the make and model from the data plate (the silver sticker on the machine), any error code, and a short description of what the machine is doing. Photos on WhatsApp are ideal.
